The primary purpose of the role is to support the Luxury Department in ensuring the smooth running of the weekly auctions, including valuing, processing, deliveries, and liaising with both clients and buyers.
You will report directly to the Luxury Auction Manager, liaising with other departmental managers and supporting clients.
To be successful in this role you will need to have strong administrative and project management skills, with excellent communication and a proactive approach to your role. You will have an interest in the luxury assets industry and the ability to adapt to a changeable workload, whilst working in a pressurised environment.
Full training on assessing and valuing luxury and designer items will be provided by the members of the Luxury Department.
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- General valuing and cataloguing for the Luxury and Designer weekly auctions, including identification and research of items.
- Providing a first-line valuation service for both external and internal stakeholders.
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate the smooth running of the weekly auction.
- New and existing client account management including preparation of consignment contracts, updating of internal systems, and client liaison throughout the auction.
- Work with the department to ensure all internal and external enquiries are resolved efficiently and promptly.
- Support the valuation, processing, and deliveries of the proceeds of crime auctions.
- Maintaining transparent communication throughout.
- Appropriately communicate organisational information with both internal and external stakeholders through all communication channels, including email, telephone, and online chat box.
- Representing John Pye Luxury Assets at industry events whilst acting as a Brand Ambassador for both the business and the department.
- Maintaining office equipment and supplies within the Luxury Assets Nottingham facility and ordering new supplies as and when needed.

- Flexibility to undertake additional tasks within the business on an ad-hoc basis.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Product knowledge would be advantageous, however full training on assessing and valuing will be provided
